What you will achieve:

At the end of this course you will be able to understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar subjects in work, school, leisure activities, etc. You will be able to manage most situations that come up when travelling in a region where the language is spoken. You will be able to narrate an event, an experience or a dream; describe a desire or goal, and outline reasons or explanations behind a project or idea.

One of the things Bonjour Academy run is a monthly French book club. Great participants, open and interesting discussions and small enough that everyone gets plenty of chance to speak and listen to lots of French in a fun and very friendly environment. They are very good at selecting the novels to be read as well - not too long, very readable, a good variety of themes and authors from across the francophone world - far more hits than misses!

I’ve just finished a course of French lessons with Bonjour Academy and really recommend using this company! My tutor was brilliant and helped me improve all aspects of my French from grammar and vocabulary right the way though to conversation. I've been having lessons with Bonjour Academy for over a year. Before my lessons I had scraped a DELF B2, and wasn't particularly confident in my abilities. Since starting I have improved exponentially, and would describe myself as fluent in the language. All tutors that I have had through the academy have been friendly, professional and effective. Bonjour Academy's tutor is excellent and provides a range of exercises - I studied French to degree level and needed a refresher and we covered a number of interesting current affairs topics, as well as more advanced translation and grammar.

I have been doing weekly virtual classes with Caroline, she is a great tutor. Always friendly and very patient as I try my best to get my sentences together. I look forward to each lesson as they are both fun and productive. I have come a long way in 6 months, and it is all thanks to Caroline.
